Zippie Alpha 2 Release is out!

Finally, we’ve reached our Alpha 2 release and it’s been delivered to our community testers. The first Alpha was released in early May and since then we worked hard to create a demo for the NYC Blockchain Week event and we’ve implemented some essential building blocks which will support our future work.

Zippie Alpha 2 is still running on Kovan testnet and as we told in the product update post, we’ll move to the main net once the security audit is done. This means that no real tokens are transfered and alpha testers can get test tokens via the Settings page. You can read more about product update from the previous post but here is our release notes for Alpha 2.

Known issues

  • iOS 11.4.x has a signup loop. Will be fixed in the next release.
  • No possibility to share a payment link on iOS. Requires different solution than WebShare — user has to copy and paste link from URL bar to share page.
  • Payment links UX on desktop needs to be improved
