Camber describes the angle between the vertical axis of the wheels used for steering and the vertical axis of the vehicle and alters the handling qualities of your car. Toe, or tracking, on the other hand, describes the symmetric angle that each wheel makes with the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. Wrong toe alignment drastically affects tire life.
Typical wheel alignment involves mounting additional measuring tools on every wheel of the car, which is a relatively time-consuming operation. During this process, operators can also introduce measuring errors by misaligning the reference tools.
