July has been all about building the foundation across gameplay, UX, and lore. From crafting flows to arena layouts, we made major progress across both Orbirium and Wizard Battle.

Let’s break it down!

Orbirium: From Code to Craft

Orbirium, our upcoming cross-chain idle crafter, is quickly shaping into a fully playable experience. July focused on transforming contract logic and core mechanics into a smooth, immersive loop.

Here’s what we achieved:

  • Smart contract logic is now fully integrated into the game’s UI: clicking, crafting, and upgrading are now all batched and trigger on-chain interactions. We also implemented a custom script that allows us to transfer player progress from Sui to Zeko, laying the groundwork for future cross-chain continuity.
  • We built out the account infrastructure with session-based authorization, deployed wallet management for both Sui and Mina, and added a Google login via Reown for easy onboarding into Web3.

  • The team also made a round of UX and UI polish updates, including responsive animations. Sound design was finalized, with ambient background music, click sounds, and hover feedback bringing the game world to life.
  • Behind the scenes, we shipped a long list of fixes and improvements to make the core gameplay loop tighter and more reliable. Alongside that, new character previews, concept art, and marketing videos were created in preparation for the public launch.

Orbirium is now in its final playtesting phase. We’re optimizing balance, pacing, and progression to ensure players enjoy a deeply satisfying loop when the game launches.

Stay tuned and follow ZkNoid and Zeko Protocol to be the first to forge magic in Orbirium and compete for the Zeko airdrop!

Wizard Battle: Lore and Layouts

While Orbirium prepares to launch, the next phase of the ZkNoid universe is quietly brewing.

Wizard Battle, our PvP tactical arena brawler, saw strong progress this month:

  • We finalized the visual design for the first three characters: the Arcane Sorcerer, a wielder of elemental and cosmic forces; the Shadow Archer, a stealthy sniper with traps and illusions; and the Phantom Duelist, an agile, illusion-based melee fighter built for chaos.

  • Tilemap layouts for the Arena are complete, and the first round of map mechanics has been implemented using Phaser 3. These maps will bring depth and strategy to battles through camouflage, elevation, and tactical hazards.
  • The full lore draft was also completed, directly tying Wizard Battle’s world to the legacy of Orbirium. (Look out for a full lore drop soon!)
  • Technical documentation has been written explaining the game’s architecture and core mechanics.

Looking ahead: August 2025

August will be a big month:

  • Orbirium is set for public release!
  • Deeper dive into Wizard Battle combat mechanics and lore
  • Working version of Wizard Battle with arena editor and 3 reaty-to-play characters
  • And… a few surprises for the Zeko community that you won’t want to miss
