gZKS is here! ZKSwap Officially Announces Issuing Community Governance Token gZKS

ZKSwap officially announced that it had issued the community governance token gZKS to eligible users on April 29, 2021, GMT+8.

A total of 7,345,137 gZKS tokens were issued to 968 eligible addresses. The gZKS token is only generated by a 360-day ZKS staking contract.

Users who participate in ZKS Proof-of-Staking mining with a 360-day period will receive gZKS at their L2 addresses, the amount of which is corresponding to the actual duration of the staking period. Staking for a full 360 days can get the same amount as locked ZKS. The amount of gZKS will decrease linearly with the actual staking duration to half of the amount of staked ZKS. Please note that gZKS can only be generated when the staking position is greater than or equal to 180 days.

Users who hold gZKS can initiate community governance-related posts in the corresponding section of the forum for discussion and generate preliminary ideas and opinions on the proposal.
