ZKSwap Governance Proposal Voting Tutorial
How to vote on ZKSwap governance proposals on Snapshot via gZKS
Dear ZKSwap community,
As you may know, we have seen the first proposal of ZKSwap governance on Snapshot. Here is a quick tutorial of using gZKS to vote on ZKSwap proposals on Snapshot.
- Go to https://zks.app/en/wallet and Connect Wallet, Unlock Wallet;
- Withdrawal your gZKS to your L1 wallet address with a minimum of 10 gZKS; the gZKS withdrawal is transaction fee-free;
3. Add gZKS token to your wallet: gZKS contract address 0x0a050b994350a774634a84a327bd205ae7a69767
4. Wait for 20–40 minutes for your gZKS withdrawal to reach your L1 wallet;
5. After receiving the gZKS in your L1 wallet, go to the ZKSwap governance page on Snapshot at https://snapshot.org/#/gzks.eth; conncet to your L1 Wallet with gZKS token, explore and vote proposals on the Snapshot ZKSwap page;
6. Note: Please beware that you can only vote if you hold gZKS when the proposal is launched;

To be able to vote you need voting power, your voting power is calculated at the “snapshot” of the proposal. The snapshot is the block number where the voting power matter, if you don’t have any token at this block number you will not have any voting power and won’t be able to vote.
