EpiPath is a community-driven contact-tracing solution that helps people get back to school, work, and communities with everyone’s health, safety, and privacy in mind. EpiPath is the social distancing, contact tracing, monitoring, and reporting solution to protecting the workplace.
EpiPath’s omnichannel ecosystem solves key hurdles that are not well served through existing solutions. Currently, with testing and reporting there is a lack of standards and availability. Different regions are subjected to different protocols for testing and reporting, and regional medical/lab support networks could require different testing methods and test kits. Additionally, existing solutions lack a comprehensive end-to-end contact tracing platform that supports various testing, reporting, temporal scanning, tracing, information network, and health advisory portal that can be accessed in one place. Contact tracing today also lacks a degree of privacy, anonymity, and security. Current manual efforts are expensive and ineffective.

How EpiPath™ Works
Geofencing
EpiPath is activated automatically by geofencing when users enter the perimeter of their building or campus. Contact tracing is automatically turned on.
Bluetooth beacons
EpiPath does not use SIM cards or mobile numbers. It works by sending and receiving Bluetooth (BT) signals that record anonymous contacts with other EpiPath users. When someone reports symptoms or a positive test for COVID-19, EpiPath pushes notifications to all those who were in contact with that person within the past 14 days.
Blockchain for privacy and anonymity
Using encryption powered by Zocial’s Blockchain technology, EpiPath provides uncompromised security and anonymity. Only the user controls their information. No entities, systems, or devices, including EpiPath and Zocial, can access user information, and users are never identified or tracked.
EpiPath™ for Tracing, Testing, and Informing
Trace
EpiPath helps users assess their level of risk by quantifying their amount of social exposure and alerts them when they are physically too close to another user. The heatmap keeps them aware of what’s happening in their location as well as places to avoid when they are near maximum capacity.
Test and Report
EpiPath makes it easy for users to report symptoms, tests, and possible exposure to their school or organization. Test kits and PPE can even be ordered in the app. When a positive test for COVID-19 is reported, EpiPath pushes notifications to all users who were in contact with that person within the past 14 days and directs them to the appropriate next steps.

EpiPath can be customized to meet an organization’s requirements, with options that can help inform and protect users. EpiPath can be integrated with existing solutions or used as a stand-alone app. Options such as Digital Wallet, Marketplace, Services, Secure Chat, Social Media, News, Live TV, and Classifieds are available for integration.

EpiPath allows schools, workplaces, and communities to monitor their members’ health status, occupancy of their facilities using anonymous bluetooth signals, and send urgent notifications when necessary.

EpiPath works across multiple devices used by a single user, so users can install the App on multiple devices (smartphone, tablet, laptop) and log in with a single ID and password without re-entering authentication factors.

EpiPath can recognize trusted devices for users in the same household, so they do not receive unwanted notifications.
Visitors and Deliveries
EpiPath has solutions for visitors and deliveries by scanning QR codes. Visitors can download the EpiPath app to acquire a personal QR code that is scanned upon entry. Visitors and service personnel are required to keep the EpiPath app for 3 weeks and self-report if necessary.
