My Outlook’s daily reminder forgot to mention that today is what Americans call Veterans Day and the rest of the English-speaking world calls Remembrance Day.

Perhaps the omission is because programmers and coders and computer geeks in general have no experiential connection whatsoever with the First or Second World Wars.
