Apetimism is now the official Genesis NFT Collection for Zonic NFT Marketplace for L2
As you may already know, Zonic began as an NFT project called Apetimism, and it has been developed entirely from scratch by the Apetimism team with the support of funds from its holders. Without the support of the Apetimism community over the past eight months, Zonic would not exist today. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that:
Apetimism will be the official Genesis NFT for Zonic, and its holders will receive most of the benefits on the Zonic NFT Marketplace.
As we continue to grow, we recognize that the current maximum supply of Apetimism, which is 3,999, may not be sufficient for the project’s scale. Therefore, we have decided to create a new collection for Zonic OG, with a limited supply of roughly 1,000–2,000. We believe this will provide a good entry point for newcomers and allow us to expand the project further.
These OG NFTs will not be available for sale, but they can be obtained as a reward for supporting Zonic by participating in activities such as Zonic Quests and campaigns on Twitter and/or Discord.

What is Apetimism?
Apetimism is one of the early NFT projects on Optimism and was created with the mission of exploring ways to gain real value by building a real business around NFTs.
Notably, Apetimism sold out in just 12 minutes, even during the bear market. Currently, it is ranked as one of the top three NFT projects by market cap in the Optimism network.
In line with our mission, the Apetimism team has continuously delivered a series of products and activities aimed at building a real business to back the value of our NFTs. We believe that NFT projects need to be supported by real businesses that are profitable and self-sustaining in order to truly realize their value.
In November 2022, Apetimism launched its very first business, “Apetimism Launchpad”, which is an NFT launchpad designed to assist creators in launching their NFT projects with ease, without any technical knowledge. Zonic NFT Marketplace for L2 is the second product launched by Apetimism earlier this month, with a mission to increase NFT liquidity on Ethereum Layer-2 through the secondary sales market.
Actions speak louder than words, and we have real-life proof of our commitment to being an NFT project that delivers actual products aimed at building a business to support the value of Apetimism NFTs. We believe this is a sustainable approach to building and growing our project.
This is just the beginning, as we plan to create end-to-end services that support creators from NFT creation to the secondary market, and even further beyond.

Apetimism as the Zonic’s Genesis NFT collection
In line with our mission to build a business around the Apetimism NFT and support its value with a real business, we have decided to designate Apetimism as the Genesis NFT collection for Zonic. Holders of Apetimism will receive most of the benefits on the Zonic NFT marketplace, including discounts, future airdrops, and more.
As mentioned earlier, Zonic began with the support of the Apetimism community, and we would not be where we are today without them. Therefore, we believe that Apetimism holders deserve to receive all benefits on Zonic.
The benefits we are referring to are not limited to what is available today but also include what will be available in the future. We will prioritize these benefits for Apetimism holders in order to support our mission of increasing the actual value of Apetimism NFTs through our business. 🐵⚡️
Zonic OG NFT Collection
“OG” stands for “Original Gangster,” and there is no one better suited for this title than Apetimism holders, who have been with us since June 2022.
However, as we continue to grow, we also want to reward our new supporters in every way possible. Therefore, we have decided to create “Zonic OG”, a new NFT collection for those who may have missed the opportunity to ape in Apetimism and only discovered us through Zonic.
Given the current scale of Zonic, we have limited the supply of Zonic OG NFTs to around 1,000–2,000 to avoid oversupply. As a result, the total supply of Genesis (Apetimism) NFTs and Zonic OG NFTs combined will be only around 5,000–6,000 pieces.
Zonic OG holders will receive similar benefits to Apetimism holders, but at a different rate. Please note that Zonic OG NFTs will come in multiple tiers, with higher tiers receiving more benefits than lower ones. The highest tier is expected to receive the same level of benefits as Apetimism holders.
How to obtain Zonic OG NFT?
Once again, Zonic OG NFTs will not be available for purchase from us as they will only be rewarded to our supporters and contributors through activities on https://zonic.app and our social media channels.
The first batch of the highest tier of Zonic OG NFTs has already been given to our bug reporters and those who made meaningful suggestions for our project on our Discord server. This approach will continue, and we will reward those who help and support us in any way possible.
Please note that we have allocated 1,000 Zonic OG NFTs in the Zonic Gift Boxes as a reward for those who frequently use our marketplace services. Don’t forget to participate in Zonic Quests for a chance to win!
Holder Benefit
The initial advantage that holders of Apetimism and Zonic OG NFTs can expect is a discount on marketplace fees. As our growth continues and more products are introduced to the market, additional benefits will be developed over time for our NFT holders.
NFT Structure
In summary, the use of NFTs in the Zonic ecosystem is structured as follows:
- Apetimism — 3,999 pieces of Genesis NFT with a 100% benefit scale.
- Zonic Whale — 100 pieces of NFT distributed to the first 100 participants in the whale quests. Zonic Whale holders receive the same level of benefits as Apetimism holders.
- Zonic OG NFT Tier 1 — 200 pieces of NFT with the same level of benefits as Apetimism.
- Zonic OG NFT Tier 2–500 pieces of NFT with a 2/3 benefit scale compared to Apetimism.
- Zonic OG NFT Tier 3–1000 pieces of NFT with a 1/3 benefit scale compared to Apetimism.
To help you better understand the NFT structure in the Zonic ecosystem, we have provided a chart that displays each NFT and its corresponding benefit scale weight below.
Please note that a total of 1,000 Zonic OG NFTs will be obtainable from Zonic Gift Box, with 100 pieces of Tier 1, 300 pieces of Tier 2, and 600 pieces of Tier 3. The remaining NFTs will be distributed in other ways to reward our supporters in various ways.
