Zonic Quests: Vote Quest Result Summary

A few weeks ago, we launched a ‘Vote Quest’ campaign to allow everyone to vote for their favorite NFT collection on Optimism, Arbitrum One, and Arbitrum Nova. The campaign ended successfully on February 5th, and we would like to share the summary with you.

Campaign Objective

This campaign had two objectives.

• For Creators — We strongly focus on the creators, as we believe that the NFT marketplace and creators must go hand in hand. Since our marketplace was not yet live at the time of the campaign but was about to, we wanted to take advantage of that opportunity to allow collection owners to set the creator fee before the product went live.
• For Holders — We are thrilled to have the community help us choose their favorite NFT collection to feature on the front page. This will benefit not only the collection owner but also the holders of the NFT.

The campaign was a great success. We received hundreds of NFT collections with creator fee information, and more than 10,000 votes were cast during the campaign period.

Winners

During the campaign period, a total of 12,941 votes were cast from 4,353 unique addresses to 264 NFT collections on the platforms of Optimism, Arbitrum One, and Arbitrum Nova.

The top 6 voted NFT collections on each supported blockchain will be featured on https://zonic.app as promised. The results have been concluded and the list is as follows:

They are now featured on the front page of https://zonic.app as we speak. Congratulations to the winning collections!

But that’s not all. As previously announced, we will be giving away a total of 100 ZONIC Gift Boxes randomly to voters and 10 ZONIC Gift Boxes to the collection owners of the top 6 voted collections on each blockchain. Please be advised that only collections with completed creator fee information are eligible to win the gift box, as it is the only way to verify the collection owner’s active involvement in the project.

All the rewards have already been airdropped to all the eligible winners as we speak.

For the collection owners, the gift boxes have been airdropped to the wallet that owns the smart contract for all 13 eligible collections. Please kindly check your wallet to ensure everything is in order.

Malicious Act Report

We are aware that some collection was created after the campaign launch with the intention of receiving enough votes to be among the top 6 and receive the Gift Box reward.

This is not at all what we anticipated, but since it is not explicitly prohibited by the rules that were announced when the campaign was launched, we have decided to proceed with it. Although we are not particularly pleased about the situation, we believe that overruling the announced rules by our own discretion would have a negative impact, rather than a positive one. Therefore, we have decided to comply and send Gift Boxes to the flagged collection owner.

We are keeping this as a key learning opportunity to strengthen the rules for our future campaigns, in order to prevent malicious actors from taking advantage.

The Official Launch is coming.

Although our Zonic NFT marketplace is now fully operational, it has not yet been officially launched and is still in the soft-launch phase.

The soft launch was implemented to allow us to test and evaluate all of the services, and ensure that everything was functioning as expected. So far, everything has gone smoothly, and we are now confident that the service can be provided to everyone with high security and without any issues.
