Welcome to November! We are just a few steps away from the end of 2022, and we are excited as to what this month will bring in terms of major milestones in the Web 3.0 industry.

It’s Coming! Meta to Introduce NFT Minting and Trading to Instagram

During the Creator Week event that took place on November 2, Meta, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook, announced that the social media platform will now host a toolkit for NFT creators.

The end-to-end toolkit will allow creators to mint and trade non-fungible tokens on Instagram. They will also be able to trade the minted NFT off the social media platform.

Instagram is kicking this project with Polygon as its blockchain of choice.

Others

More news coming in hot this week includes the launching of Earn Now, which is hailed as the first-ever metaverse-based platform. Earn Now will enable businesses to secure significant investments from millennials.

With nearly 75% of retailers open to accepting either stablecoin or crypto, Pundi X, a web 3.0 startup, is releasing a unique Web 3.0 point of sales machine dubbed XPOS Web 3.0.

NFT winter is biting hard on the NFT market. A report by DappRadar shows that sales fell by another 25% in October.

The parent company of Stepn, Find Satoshi Lab, is adding an NFT marketplace to its portfolio of products and services. The platform is going to be membership-based and multi-chain.

The subsequent set of next-gen Web 3.0 financial services could find their home on Zoidpay. Zoidpay has secured funding up to the tune of $75M from GEM digital limited, a digital asset investment company. This will help create a go-to open Web 3.0 financial architecture.

We leave you now to digest all of this on your own, and we will be back next week with more highlights from our favorite industry!
