Zowasel, an agricultural technology company on a mission to enhance farmers’ productivity, sustainability, and profitability across value chains, has unveiled exciting new features on its flagship Marketplace to democratise Purchase Orders pickup and delivery from leading off-takers as a one-stop shop platform

The Marketplace offers an innovative approach to commodity marketing, connecting crop sellers with buyers based on location, quality specifications, price offers, and demand through an advanced matching system. Within the Marketplace, users can now utilize a private “Negotiation Room” to efficiently manage transactions, negotiate prices, and finalize quantities through an offer, negotiation, and acceptance process.

With the new Marketplace features, agricultural cooperatives and merchants can now securely transact with processors and manufacturers, accessing unparalleled connectivity, valuable price insights, enhanced trade protection, and the ability to create, negotiate, and accept offers while facilitating delivery and receiving payments within 24 hours.

This revamped Marketplace also offers an immersive chat experience and an efficient customer care channel with digital trading capabilities that were previously not possible. Accessible through web and mobile apps, the platform fosters greater price transparency and serves as a one-stop shop for purchase orders, benefiting merchants, agricultural cooperatives, and emerging farms alike.

Moreover, Zowasel’s platform generates automatic waybills, good receipt notes, and invoices, allowing buyers to make digital payments or pay on delivery based on their classifications and approval limits. The platform further classifies crop buyers based on their company formation, payment terms, offtake capacity, and financial records, enabling verification and proof of payments. Account types include Blue-Chip, Brown-Chip, and Red-Hot, with all registered buyers initially classified as Red-Hot but eligible to request an upgrade.

By aggregating purchase orders from leading processors and manufacturers nationwide, Zowasel democratizes immediate pickup for merchants, agricultural cooperatives, and emerging farms, eliminating the need for travel, lobbying time for purchase orders, multiple vendor registrations, and extended payment of 30–60 days after delivery.

The platform facilitates purchasing and selling crops, food ingredients, feeds, and agrochemicals, saving valuable time and money for all stakeholders involved.

With its user-friendly interface, Zowasel’s platform fosters long-term relationships between crop sellers and buyers, establishing a network of trusted traders based on transparency.
