ZTX Avatar Builder Beta Is Live
The first step to creating your identity in ZTX
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of ZTX Avatar Builder Beta, a customizable experience for creating unique Avatars that you can use in ZTX and socials.
The Avatar Builder Beta is an integral part of our product stack and roadmap, serving as the first opportunity for you to see what’s in store visually and what we’ve been busy with at ZTX (among many other things).
Keep in mind this is a soft launch as we’re releasing the Avatar Builder Beta months before the ZTX Beta to gather community feedback and to further refine the tool with rich, comprehensive features that will be unveiled in the coming months. Our goal is to deliver the best experience for our users.
What is the ZTX Avatar Builder?
The ZTX Avatar Builder is a web app that allows anyone to create a custom Avatar to explore ZTX and to share across social media. It is a product of months of work between our design and development team, while leveraging the infrastructure of our web2 partner ZEPETO, the largest metaverse platform in Asia with over 400M registered users.
The Avatar Builder will deliver the same leading Avatar creation & cosmetics experience as ZEPETO, but with a new and unique art style that you will love!
To begin with, the Avatar Builder Beta will offer a highly customizable experience with over 20 variables to change and hundreds of options to choose from. Start by selecting ⅙ preset styles designed by our talented in-house team, then get creative by customizing your Avatar’s features such as:
- Face shape, beauty marks, wrinkles, and freckles
- Hair and facial hair
- Eye shape, eyelids, and eyebrows
- Nose and lips
- Makeup such as blush, contour, face paint, eyeliner, eyeshadow and tattoos
- Body types
- T-shirts and coats
- Pants and skirts
- Shoes and socks
- Glasses and masks
- Jewelry such as necklaces, earrings, and piercings
Not only can you choose from the existing templates, but with most variables, you can also manually adjust the size, shape, or colors to your liking. Did we mention highly customizable?

User feedback and bug reports
Building in public is an important part of our team ethos. The goal of the Beta release is to improve and innovate the Avatar Builder alongside the community, with your feedback and ideas.

What can I do with my Avatar?
Once the ZTX Beta launches in the second half of this year, you’ll be able to explore, socialize, play games, and participate in events as your ZTX Avatar. The Avatar Builder will be accessible at all times, letting you re-customize your Avatar for a special night out or just lounging at your ZTX Home.
You can also use our selfie feature to use the Avatar as your PFP and share it across socials. Don’t forget to try out different poses!

Also, we’ll be revealing our first wearables NFT collection in the coming months which means you’ll have a chance to decorate your Avatar with unique wearable NFTs designed by our creative team. You’ll be able to trade these wearable NFTs on the secondary market across various platforms. We’ll share more details on that in the coming weeks so stay tuned.
Digital Identity
At ZTX, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to create their own self-sovereign digital identity. And this goes beyond PFPs. Digital identity is the sum of people’s appearances, the assets they own, the experiences they have, and the communities that they are a part of, as well as the social interactions they have.
This is a part of our ZTX vision to create a metaverse for all, empowering creators, communities and users to build, play and earn — and our Avatar Builder is a core component of this grand journey.
ZTX is one step closer to offering its vision to the users as we present a highly customizable and dynamic tool that empowers users to create their digital identities in the metaverse equipped with customizable land, homes and wearables alongside rich social features and experiences like games, social activities and Districts to join.
