This blog unpacks all of the details for the upcoming Genesis Mint. Get up to speed on the timeline, where the mint is happening, the art and its inspiration, and of course, the utility of each Home.

Mint Details
With the supply of only 4,000 District Homes, our team has spent months strategizing the mint. We strive to make it fair and get ZTX District Home NFTs into the hands of community members and long-term partners.
District Homes are immersive and customizable NFTs to be used inside ZTX. They provide holders with access to Districts and unlock game perks. We’ll go over this in the sections below.
There will be 2 phases of the mint; the presale and the OpenSea mint. The presale, which takes place on Ethereum over a period of 3 weeks, allows for a larger minting window that can accommodate strategic partner allocations. Participants will be hand-picked based on their long-term convictions and strategic alignment with ZTX. The OpenSea mint will then take place on Arbitrum and open up minting opportunities to community and team members, alongside the public.
Presale (Aug 8–25)
The Presale will be conducted in waves across this timeframe, to accommodate different partnerships flexibly and assure our community can participate across different time zones. Here are the details you need to know:

- Hosted on Helio
- Purchase is made on Ethereum
- Buyers receive the NFT on Arbitrum after the OpenSea mint has finished
Presale buyers do NOT get their NFTs immediately after purchase. Instead, they are pre-paying on ETH and will receive their NFTs on Arbitrum* AFTER the main mint on Arbitrum happens. There is no airdrop to partners or collectors. High-conviction buyers only.
*the NFT will be delivered to the same wallet address that was used to pre-pay on ETH.
OpenSea Mint (Aug 30th)
ZTX has partnered with leading marketplace OpenSea to host the Genesis Mint. Here are the details:
- August 30th
- 2k supply
- 2 mints/wallet (except the public stage)
- Hosted on OpenSea ARBITRUM
- 3 stages: guaranteed allowlist, non-guaranteed & public (until sold out)
- Price: TBD but same across all stages
- Minters receive NFT immediately after purchase

What am I minting? The NFTs
The Genesis Mint will kick off the development of the ZTX NFT ecosystem, allowing early supporters to collect one of the first-ever ZTX NFTs; District Homes.
District Homes are customizable and immersive, in-game assets that unlock access to one of the four ZTX districts and additional gameplay boosts. Every District Home will be categorized by a leading District on-chain trait. This trait will resemble the aesthetic and experiences of that District within ZTX. Every District Home will be given a randomized set of such traits, making it unique for its owner. The graphic below displays examples of the possible traits:
What’s the UTILITY?
District Homes are unlike anything you’ve minted. They unlock in-game utility and will continue to provide holders with special perks throughout ZTX’s roadmap. The NFTs were designed to have utility from day one. Let’s break it down:
- In-game assets — each home will be Immersive & Usable. Upon Beta launch, the District Home that you own will be your actual home in ZTX. Users will be able to decorate their homes and land inside and out.
- District membership — by owning and staking your District Home, you will become a member of the District. As a member, you can participate in governance and share in the Districts' economic growth.
- Gameplay boosts — owning a District Home will increase your opportunities to harvest and craft ZTX assets. While the gameplay mechanics are still being developed, the rate at which you progress as a player will be boosted.
- Social — invite friends over to your home and host parties inside of ZTX
- OG Community — own a piece of ZTX history and join a community of the earliest supporters. Genesis holders get access to a dedicated channel and can gain early access to drops as ZTX grows.
Artwork/Trait Reveal
Minters will receive their NFTs on-chain immediately upon purchase.
The reveal of the artwork and traits will happen 24–48hrs after the last mint stage or when the collection mints out, whichever comes first.
Before the reveal, the NFTs will be visually represented by a unified 3D key on marketplaces. Trading of pre-reveal keys will be supported.
