Zear Zunks, thank you all for participating in the various #Zunkmas events we held. We realize we didn’t get one through every single day. This was a major planning fault on my end. I didn’t realize the amount of legwork that would be required to facilitate these events on a daily basis. On the bright side, now there is a system in place to avoid these snags going forward.

Zunkmas #1: Quiz Game — Prize: 0.03 ETH ~ 1 Winner

This contest was a quiz game centred around the Zunks community, sales performance, and other things that you would only know if you were participating in the community in late November to mid December. This contest had about 50 participants all vying for the most points.

This contest was announced in our Discord and on Twitter. It was to create Christmas/Holiday inspired artwork featuring Zunks. These 3 winners were chosen for their great artwork that they submitted using the #12DaysOfZunkmas hashtag on Twitter. This contest didn’t require any movie posters be ZUNKED but a lot of submissions seemed to follow movie posters. Their entries are below:

These 20 winners have had the 0.02 ETH sent to their wallets containing the Zunk. The address was found by searching the Zunk ID on OpenSea and then sending the ETH out manually one by one. We originally planned to choose 10 but we decided to do 20 since we had so many entries. Participants were asked to tweet #MerryZunkmas and tag @CryptoZunks.
Zhank you to everybody who participated and shared in the holiday spirit with the Zunk fam this Christmas! We have onboarded our new graphic design team and come January you will be seeing much more high quality graphics and announcements as well as contests being posted.
We have given away 0.79 ETH, approximately $3,900 USD, in total for these Zunkmas events this Christmas to 29 Zunk Community Members. Our giveaway budget is $2,000 USD/month but we decided to giveaway nearly double this season. We will continue to host more events like these throughout the year for special occasions and holidays on top of regular events that we intend to hold at least twice per month going forward.
We wish you all a Merry Zunkmas and a Zappy Zew Zear! Stay tuned for the Zew Zear Zunk event which will be posted on December 31st. We will be giving away 2 Zunk NFT’s from the Community Wallet to 2 lucky winners. This event will be more involved than our Zunkmas events and will require you to do a few more things to participate. However, it will be zun!
