Pitching to Get the Connections We Need

Publicis, a communication agency, brought together more than 40,000 people, 5,000 startups and more than 100 big corporations at Vivatech Paris. The main purpose of the event was to connect starts-up with senior executives, venture capitalists, accelerators, talents, and opinion leader. Comet was excited to introduce themselves to lots of people there to discuss potential partnerships.

A way to introduce the startups, one could enter their business into two challenges.

Comet applied for both. We won the first pitch! Matthieu Spiry talked about his experience at Le French Conference. Comet was selected among thousands of startups for the second which was the main challenge. An award of 300,000 Euros worth of advertisements was given to the winner. Unfortunately, that wasn’t Comet but we did get in the top ten.

Another way to reach out to potential partners or investors was to just walk around.

Even though the event was huge, it was organized so well that you could almost meet everyone in two days. Another successful event! Thank you Orange for selecting us to participate in this wonderful opportunity.
