The culture of a start-up is not for everyone. For those that it is for, it is an unconventional way to work that will keep you motivated. In a creative business, like most startups must be, it helps to create an atmosphere that will encourage new ideas and increasing concentration.

“Culture is creating an environment in which your team members are owners of the process, so they’re dedicated to the team in a different fashion”

At comet, there is a strong sense of being on a team. Everyone is needed to move the company forward. Everyones task is just as important as the others.

This kind of environment not only encourages individual creativity but group creativity. This happens through brain storming sessions. In these quick sessions, which need good leadership not to be disorganized and ensure fluidity, something(or a lot) of ideas are discussed the session. It is also important to not get lost in the details and be able to choose the ideas to move forward with. At Comet, these sessions are a vital part in keeping the app updated and producing the best product for our users.

This start-up mentality and environment works for Comet, keeping it strong and strung together.
