Have you thought about meditating but found it hard to get started? Are you not really sure what to do or how to relax? Well, we’ve decided to put together a visual meditation script for you to read and try.

Visual Meditation scripts are a great way to practice meditating without having your mind wander. You get to indulge your imagination as you take in the words on the page and walk away feeling relaxed and revitalized.

Our goal is to complete a series of visual meditation scripts that we will release monthly via our blog.

Each script that we release will provide you with a sense of calm and relaxation while enhancing your focus on a particular emotional state of being.

Feeling balanced and aligned is our passion! We strive to feel this way all day every day and we are hopeful that you will benefit from the visualizations we’ve used throughout the years to help us get into our own personal alignment. The visualizations are/will all be written with love in hopes to help you find your own inner-calm each and everyday…

Let’s Get Started!

1. The Tree: This guided meditation script will help you feel more grounded and centered.

Begin by finding a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed or interrupted. Put your phone on airplane mode so incoming calls/texts/email chimes won’t disrupt you in this sacred moment you’ve dedicated to yourself.

Find a comfortable seated position, preferably on the floor for this particular meditation. Lying down is not recommended. If you are on a time constraint, we recommend setting a timer for however long you wish to meditate. This allows you the opportunity to fully focus on your meditation practice rather than worrying about the time. As you practice more and more, begin to add time as you see fit in order to enhance your meditation experience and reap the rewards of feeling calm for longer duration's..

Once settled into position, begin by counting your breaths. As you breathe in, imagine the shape of the #1 floating up in front of your face; as you exhale envision the #2 floating down, as you inhale again visualize the #3 moving upward and the #4 floating down. Carry out this process all the way up to the # 10 and then start over at #1. Complete this visualization process with the numbers 3 times.

As you get to the #10 the third time around, turn your focus to your body. Imagine your body as the trunk of a beautiful large healthy and vibrant tree. Your bark is absolutely gorgeous! The base of your tree is so massive that you can’t even get your arms wrapped all the way around it. Your roots run so deep and so wide that no amount of wind or rain would ever be able to sway you.

As you envision yourself firmly grounded (rooted if you will) you sense yourself sitting upright, growing taller and taller with each inhale. Envision the sun shining high and bright in the sky. As the sun kisses your face imagine the beautiful, warm, bright sunlight extending down through your extremities which represent your trees branches and leaves.

The sun represents your soul. Your inner being that knows exactly who you are at your core and loves you wholly! As you feel this love from your soul beaming down upon your face, you begin to take in that love. You feel it absorbing into your skin as it flows deep into your chest filling you up with enough positivity to get you through your day. Now turn your attention to the sky. Imagine a beautiful blue sky all around you.

Here you are — this magnificent amazing tree standing ever so tall in this beautiful, lush forest completely alone in thought, in this amazingly peaceful and tranquil place.

Visualize the sky being your mind. As you work to quiet your mind, imagine the clouds as your thoughts. They will be scattered throughout your sky and you will see them here and there. Imagine these beautiful white puffy clouds representing all of your beautiful thoughts that filter in and out of your mind. Do your best to try and envision a clear blue sky. The thoughts are there, but the goal is to imagine floating around them right now. If you have something heavy weighing on your mind, the clouds you visualize may be a little darker in color. It’s okay to see these clouds too. Try your best to work you way around them. Imagine yourself floating around or perhaps above them so you can see the sunshine once again. Try and visualize the clouds literally parting from you as the sun begins to shine through once more. Return your focus back to the sun that is nourishing you — the strong beautiful tree that you are. Appreciate this moment. Appreciate how grounded and centered you feel.

Know that the sun and the rain have made you who you are today. You become stronger each and everyday because the sun is always shining and the storm clouds fuel your desire for more. You need rain to survive… Remember — you are the tree. You stand tall and strong without judgement of any of the other trees beside you. You are each unique and beautiful in your own way.

Your branches and roots are like no other. You are strong.. You are healthy.. You are grounded and you are Oh So Vibrant!
