Synopsis: In 1947, the sinking of the Seikan Line and a massive fire in Iwanai, Hokkaido occur simultaneously. The fire turns out to be arson by a criminal who killed a pawn shop owner and stole his money. Two unidentified bodies are found on the capsized ship. They turn out to be two of the three robbers who broke into the pawn shop. For ten years, Detective Yumisaka has been chasing the murderers who were caught in the middle of the capsizing accident…

The other day, I watched “A Fugitive from the Past” again. The first time I saw it, I was only following the story, but the second time, all I could focus on was the innocence of Yae Sugito, a prostitute who has a single-minded love for one man.

Yae treats the man gently, unaware that he is on the run after a murder. She soaks him in hot water, shaves his beard, trims his nails, dabs his wounded hands with medicine, wraps them in bandages, and spends the night with him. This wetting of the pants is a performance full of eroticism.
