Why can’t I add a cash app to Apple Pay?

However, you can still use your Cash App balance to make purchases online or in stores where Apple Pay is accepted by linking a debit card associated with your Cash App account to your Apple Wallet. This allows you to use your Cash App funds indirectly through Apple Pay.

To add a debit card linked to your Cash App account to Apple Pay:

1. Open the Apple Wallet app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap the “+” (plus) icon to add a new card.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your debit card details manually or scan the card.
4. Once added, you may need to verify your card with your bank.
5. After verification, your Cash App-linked debit card should be available for use with Apple Pay.

Keep in mind that while you can use your Cash App balance indirectly with Apple Pay through a linked debit card, direct integration of Cash App with Apple Pay is not currently available.
