AI Reimagines Bored Apes In Reality
I thought it would be a fun experiment to reimagine what some of the bored apes might look like in a realistic unreal engine style. So I used Midjourney (MJ), an AI-powered art generator to create some renderings.
If you are not familiar with the Bored Ape Yacht Club, it is one of the more popular NFT projects to date. An internet native brand that has emerged from web 3.
Recreating the apes was a bit challenging because they tend to have a lot of features that AI has to interpret correctly. This required a lot of re-rolls, testing different parameters, and using weights to inform AI on what features take priority.
I’m going to do some articles on prompt crafting techniques soon, but for now, let’s take a look at the results.
While it’s difficult to pull all the features in, what I was really aiming for was capturing the vibe on each of the apes. I thought this was one of the better ones.
