We wrote a whole new css framework with heavy usage of html attribute selectors. In IE the framework was a rendering performance nightmare.

After reading your post yesterday, we changed 151 files (3852 additions and 163564 deletions) in one coding session. This morning I have tested it and “baaaam” here we go. In IE pages load in under 1 second which took more than 20 seconds before. Even in Chrome the rendering speed has increased.
