As we continue to call for developers to build on the 0Chain network, we take a look into potential use cases for our infrastructure and data storage solutions. 0Chain is ideal for secure data storage that enhances privacy and shifts liability to users to abide by GDPR/CCPA compliance regulations. Developers and startups can leverage 0Chain to earn rewards for building solutions for:
Healthcare
- Current electronic medical records make sharing information a long, slow task. Developers can leverage 0Chain’s data storage solutions to enhance data protection. In addition, patients could easily provide authorization to share pertinent medical records with new healthcare providers with a click of a button. Not only does this increase the speed at which healthcare providers receive access to a patient’s info, it can improve the overall quality of care by allowing them to make quicker decisions based on accurate information. This also can help reduce the cost of administration work due to the automated process of transferring records.
IOT:
- The IOT data gathered from our farms, meters, video cameras, parking garage, rentable scooters, and wearables can be easily sent to 0Stor since the client software occupies a small footprint of cpu and memory resources to send the data and low battery usage. The benefit is a low cost of storage, and an easily marketable entity. The IOT business does not need to build an interface for sharing the data, and can just simply share a link to the buyer.

By implementing 0Chain’s technology, social media platforms can safely store user data and shift liability to the user. Not only do users control and own the data they share on platforms, they can be held liable for the information they share. Users are able to give permission to platforms to access certain information such as demographics. Upon authorizing a platform to access their information, users can track when and what information was accessed.
