Claim Points for Energon, DroidPD NFT & Galxe Point
As the first testnet of the Joint Protocol draws to a close, we have distributed over 350,000,000 Joint Points to testnet participants.
Today, we are happy to announce that it is now possible to claim additional Joint Points for owning a DroidPD NFT, Energon token and Galxe Points.
In other words, community members who minted or acquired DroidPD NFT can now claim Joint Points for each NFT they own.
Also, members who have left over Energon from the NFT mint period can claim Joint Points.
Finally, to conclude the first Galxe Campaign, we have taken a snapshot of the Galxe leaderboard to allow all campaign participants to convert their Galxe points into Joint Points.
Conversion Rate
To determine the amount of claimable Joint Points, we use a conversion rate of 30 for Energon-derived assets like DroidPD NFT and the Energon token. Then, a rate of 10 for Galxe Points.
Some example calculations:
- If you own an NFT with 30,000 ENG, you will receive 900,000 Joint Points. The more NFTs you have, the more points you will receive. NFTs with higher ENG allocation attract higher Joint Points.
- If your Energon token balance is 3,000, you will receive 90,000 Joint Points.
- If your Galxe Point is 10,000, you will receive 100,000 Joint Points.
How To Claim
Head to the Points page of our testnet interface to begin the claim process.
Click the Energon, NFT or Galxe tab to claim Joint Points for the selected category.
Each of the tabs will show a page similar to the image below:
You will see the number of Energon, NFTs, or Galxe Points your connected address holds and the number of Points you can claim.
If you see zero and you are sure you have a non-zero balance, make sure you are connected to the wallet holding the asset.
You will also see a Beneficiary Address field, where you enter the wallet address that should receive the Joint Points. We understand many members may interact with the testnet using a different wallet from the one they used in the NFT and Galxe campaigns. In this case, they can set the beneficiary address to their new testnet wallet address to consolidate the points under one wallet. If the NFT/Galxe campaign wallet is the same, click “SELF” to use the current wallet.
Click “Transfer” to sign a message that is sent to the claim service. Please note that no blockchain transaction is created, and no network fee is required.
Upon success, you should see a similar view:
At this point, you have successfully claimed the Joint Points.
Notable Information:
- Your DroidPD NFT is not burned during a Joint Point claim.
- You pay no network fee for claiming Joint Points.
- You do not need to select the Ethereum network on the Joint app.
- The Galxe leaderboard will be reset.
- The claim window ends on the 7th of April, 2024.
- The Testnet 1 ends on the 7th of April, 2024.
