An ode to a pet I’ve never had

I’ve always been more of a cat person. I do love animals in general, though. It still shakes me to the core when I read stories of how loyal dogs can be.

I dare not watch Hachiko — if you’re curious why, look it up on IMDB.

From the moment their furry little butts are born to the moment they tumble into doggy heaven, dogs bring joy into the world.

Whatever they do — be it destroy things or melt your heart — they do it with 100% certainty.

If we lived life like an average dog, how much happier would we be?
