I’ve heard Tim Ferriss recommend many times to “write about what makes you angry.” He suggests it as if it’s supposed to cure writer’s block—as if the result will be something worth reading.

When I write about what makes me angry, I don’t get good writing. Instead, I embarrass myself at how entitled & selfish I sound. Then, I’m not angry anymore, because I realize that I’m wrong.

Writing is like a command-line interface for reprogramming your brain. Yes, write about what makes you angry, but then read that writing. You’ll soon learn how poorly-formed your opinion is.
