TinAudio T2 Review

TinAudio mostly does OEM stuff. Their budget gem T515 was shrouded in obscurity for too long, and would only come up in the chasms of various chi-fi forum threads, which is a shame given it was such a nice offering in that price range. Nonetheless, TinAudio decided to get their act together, and the T2 is their first “proper” offering.

It’s got a rather unusual combination of Dual-dynamic drivers, and the asking price of the T2 is rather high (~$50) compared to typical chi-fi offerings. At this price it’s competing with some of the name brands aka Audio-technica, Meze, Brainwavz, and some very established Asian earphone manufacturers like Dunu, Fidue, Shozy etc. It’s a crowd out here, so can the TinAudio T2 stand out?

Build: The housing is made out of some Aluminium-alloy, and has some CNC-machined knurls around the whole housing. It feels dense and really well put together.
