Day 2: I could write more….tomorrow. Or Sunday.

Hi there.

Here’s Day 2 of me trying to write 275k words.

Today, I’ve taken notes on how to build up my freelance client list and also updated my blog goals for June. So, today’s total is 338.

I’m at 1,338 out of 275,000. I’m not yet at 1%. But then again, I didn’t plan on writing a bunch out the gate like a madwoman.

(I do realize that I didn’t update correctly from Day 1, but it’s not important to go back to the past. It’s time to focus on the present.)

Anyways, this is Day 2 because I didn’t write yesterday. My friend came over and we went into the pool. Spent nearly three hours relaxing and swimming and enjoying life. Then I slept for two hours. I am sore today. But I enjoyed life.

I didn’t worry about word counts sitting by the pool. I didn’t think about blog posts or freelance clients while enjoying the water (even though it was cold as shit when I first stepped in).

This weekend might be the same deal. I might not get to write on Saturday. I’m going to a baseball game then watching some indie wrestling.

And you know what? I’m not gonna think about word counts tomorrow. I’m just gonna enjoy life.

But I definitely will spend a lot of time Sunday writing. It’s supposed to rain, and rain makes me stay indoors. Thanks nature!
