Steps to create a Google account
A user account to access all Google services is Google account (Alisa, 2022). New account can be set up by people for themselves or for others (Ellis, 2023), and it also can use current work email address (Intero Integrity, 2022). Here some steps, but might be incomplete ones, are given to create a Google account.
Create account, sign in, and sign out
After installing Google Chrome, open it by clicking its icon.
Click Gmail menu near right corner of the window, below the adress bar.
The click Create account at the lower left.
Choose option For my personal use then click Next.
Write First name and Last name, then click Next.
Fill information about Month, Day, and Year, also Gender. Click Next.
Choose offered one of offered email addresses or Create you own Gmail address by typing in the given field. Then click Next.
Write the password, a strong one (Velimirovic, 2021). Then click Next.
Provide a cellular phone number to get some numbers to enter. Click Next.
Inform a recovery email address and click Next.
Provide a cellular phone number and click Next.
Verify given phone number and click Send.
Look the phone, enter the received numbers to the field, and click Verify.
Click More options to choose what is the use of the phone number.
Choose first option, Add my number for account security only, and click Done.
Review account info and click Next.
Read Privacy and Terms by scrolling down.
Click I agree button.
Observe the Inbox and click the first and only email.
Read the first email.
Click icon of your account and choose Sign out.
Remove account from browser
After sign out from Gmail list of accounts will be shown.
Available accounts are displayed and also their status. Choose Remove an account.
Choose rrkurnova@gmail.com by clicking ⊖ symbol.
Confirm to revove account. Then it will show the Sign in to continue Gmail as in the second figure.
Sign in
Open again Google Chrome.
Type email address and click Next.
Enter the password and click Next.
Wait it is signing in.
Be in Gmail Inbox. Change address bar, e.g. google.com
Notice the difference with first figure. Then it has not yet signed in and now it is signing in. Compare the left corner icon.
