All You Need to Know for the Closed Beta

GM Hive, B2Option’s initial closed beta test will begin shortly!

If you have not applied for the beta test please refer to ‘Join the first $sweet closed beta’ and apply via ‘B2Option Closed Beta Tester Application’

If you have already applied, please read the information below before you begin exploring the world of $sweet.

We will have several batches of testers to facilitate this better.

1. General Information

• Official starting date: December 19th 2022
• Duration: Maximum 2 weeks
• The test website URL and the starting time will be provided via official Discord channel

2. Checking Eligibility

• Eligible participants will be notified via our official Discord channel
• If your wallet is not whitelisted, you cannot participate.
• All wallets must be whitelisted to get the $sweet rewards.

3. Wallet and Platform Set-up

**If you are familiar with Metamask and Goerli testnet, go to 3.4

3.1. Installing Metamask

• Depending on the device you are using, go to Chrome Extension, iPhone Store, or Google Play Store to download Metamask application.
• Set up the Metamask wallet. If it is your first time go to Coindesk’s [How to Set Up a MetaMask Wallet] article for detailed instructions.

3.2. Metamask to Goreli Testnet

Change the network from [Ethereum Mainnet] to [Goerli test network].

1. Click the ‘Ethereum Mainnet’ on the top of the wallet
2. Click ‘Show/hide test networks’
3. Turn on ‘Show test networks’
4. Select ‘Goerli test network’
5. Click ‘Add network’

3.2. Metamask to Goreli Testnet

3.3. Goerli Testnet Faucet

To test in-app feature such as staking, Goerli testnet ETH is needed.

Go to the websites below.

Paste your 42-digit Metamask wallet address in one of the four website listed below(some of them might request you to verify that you are not a bot).

3.3. Goreli Testnet Faucet

3.4. Add B2O Contract

To test the in-app feature ‘Staking’, test-B2O tokens in Goerli testnet is needed. To receive test-B2O tokens in Goerli testnet follow the steps below.

1. Go to [Assets] >> [Import tokens]
2. Add the contract below to [Token contract address]

0x0566F22aC98242a0243D91114Aa706c1f1B5CBE4

3. [Token symbol] and [Token decimal] will be filled out automatically

4. Check 1,000,000 B2O in the Metamask wallet.

3.5. B2Option Website and Test ETH Check

1. Go to the the given Test Website Link.
2. Go to the orange [Connect Wallet] button on the top right corner

1. Click the [Metamask] button in the middle

1. It will activate Metamask wallet ‘[’Connect with MetaMask‘]’. Click [Next] button on the bottom right.
2. Click [Connect] button when it says ‘Connect to Account 1’
3. On the platform’s top right corner it will show ‘100 ETH’(Note that this is in-platform use point and NOT mainnet or testnet ETH).

3.5. B2Option Website and Test ETH Check

3.6. Recap on the ‘Wallet and Platform Set-up’

1. Metamask Wallet — Download, Generate and Login
2. Change Network — Goerli Testnet
3. Receive — Goerli ETH(0.01 < is fine) and Test B2O token(1M B2O)
4. Receive — Connect to the B2O website and receive B2O test ETH(100 ETH)

**Note that it is a test point that only exists in the platform. It will NOT be present in the Metamask wallet.

4. Exploring

4.1. Stake

Staking in the future will discount trading fees and give $sweet yield.

1. Go to [Stake] page
2. Type in amount of B2O you wish to stake and click [Stake B2O]
3. Confirm Goerli contract call via Metamask and click [Confirm]
4. See the ‘Stake Completed!’ pop up, close, and check ‘My Stake B2O’ section for the change.

**Staking discounts trading fees to 0%

• For referral program testers — note that if you stake B2O first, someone who has your referral code cannot profit from you.
• For trading competition participants — make sure to stake max amount of B2O before trading competition, because stakers will be benefited 5% additional points(instead of 5% fee exemption, for closed beta only) for all their profiting trades which can affect your rank in the competition.

4.2. Referral

Users who want to profit in the future by helping us with user acquisition can test out the referral program can test it out before the final product launch(Refer to the ‘Referrals & Withdrawal’ section of B2O gitbook).

1. Click [My Page]
2. Click [Enter Referral Code] on the bottom right corner.
3. Referral Code is 42 digit Metamask wallet address of an already registered user.
4. Type in referral code and click [Submit]
5. Check ‘Redeem ref code success’ pop up.

4.3. Trade

Trade is the place where users will be able to bet real cryptocurrency by entering long or short position, and hedge(close) their position early to get out to minimize their loss.

1. Between Gray Line to Orange Line — Set betting amount and position(Long/Short)
2. Between Orange Line to Red Line — Wait until the result or hedge if you think you will lose the game(you will pay 9.8% to get out instead of 100% loss).
3. Red Line Reached — The game will end and it will show PNL(%)

**Test ETH points are given out to all participants by the same amount only once so don’t bet big amounts too fast and lose it all!

**By playing in 4.3. Trade mode, you automatically begin to participate in the trading competition.

4.4. Practice

• Practice mode exists so users can practice their strategies with points. Then they can bet real cryptocurrencies in 4.3. Trade mode to make real profit.
• In the closed beta version, users can practice their strategies for the trading competition which they automatically participate by using 4.3. Trade mode.

**Practice page PNL are NOT included for the trading competition.

5. Events

5.1. Trading Competition

• If you are a confirmed closed beta tester, you are automatically registered for the competition. No additional application is necessary.
• There is only one award category of the Highest PNL. More trade profit in numbers, the better chance of winning.
• If two participants produce the same PNL(ETH), the final ranking will be determined by their total trading volume.
• Winners will be eligible to receive our $sweet NFT and more!

5.1. Bug Bounty Program

Throughout your 4. Exploring, if you find any bug(major or minor), please use the Bug Bounty Form to identify yourself, report bugs and receive rewards accordingly.
