Syscoin 3.0 is Live!
Syscoin 3.0 has successfully launched today. We took a snapshot of balances, offers, and aliases on the Syscoin 2.x blockchain at block 683412. We then migrated this snapshot to the 3.0 blockchain and started the new chain. All services are available for use immediately via console command.
How To Upgrade/Convert To Syscoin 3.0
Warning: Syscoin-Qt is designed for developers and masternode holders, if you aren’t comfortable with a technical upgrade, then please wait for our upcoming Blockmarket Desktop 3.0 release.
Syscoin 3.0 uses a new data folder location. It is now SyscoinCore instead of syscoin.
THIS GUIDE IS FOR QT ONLY. Blockmarket Desktop 3.0 will be released once the masternode network is stable.
- Back up your wallet.dat first. The location of your Syscoin 2.0 wallet.dat can be found in your Syscoin data folder located:
On Windows: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Syscoin
On Mac: /Users/[USERNAME]/Library/Application Support/Syscoin
Copy the wallet.dat to a safe location as a backup. - Create a new SyscoinCore folder in your data folder.
Windows: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SyscoinCore
Mac: /Users/[USERNAME]/Library/Application Support/SyscoinCore - Follow these instructions to complete the upgrade
