During the summer of 2014, I was an intern at Visa Inc. the best name in credit transactions. At Visa, I worked as a Global Network and Security Engineering Automation Intern.

My time there was filled with a variety of high impact projects ranging from making sure no network status reports were lost by current automated scripts to creating an entirely new workflow for notifying the army of network engineers about problem areas in the network.

Analysis and Alerts Hub for Network Engineers

The tasks I automated related to the process of network capacity analysis. Some of the processes included the sorting and filtering of raw data from network monitoring tools and alerting network engineers of needed upgrades.

After creating a new backend workflow for the sorting and filtering of records, I was tasked with building a frontend web app for network engineers to visit where they would enter the status of improvements. The app also displayed all data related to any problem link our processes identified.
