Developer Log #4 — Introduction about Meow Warriors Settings
Preface
Hello, everyone, I am Puffin, the designer of DNAxCAT, I will talk with you about some more detailed settings of meow warriors today.
Before introducing the meow warrior, let’s talk about the three major forces in the world of meow warriors: meow kingdom, Sakura Village and meow devildom.
- Meow kingdom: The castle streets made of stones, surrounded by natural trees, are one of the favorite places for meows to live.
- Sakura village: Cherry blossoms bloom all year round, full of fragrance of flowers and a large grassland. It is a place with many terrains and rich flora and fauna.
- Meow devildom: Fireflies illuminate the night, full of fantasy magic. There is a fortress in the center of the demon world, inhabited by wild meow warriors and various strange creatures around.
All meow warriors will belong to one of these three forces. The three forces live in peace and resist the invasion of the dark forces together.
After understanding the three forces of meow warriors, I would like to introduce the detailed settings of the genesis meow warriors that players most cared about.
First of all, the three genesis meow warriors of meow goddess emerald, they have a fixed anger skill.
- Name: Holi
- Element: Light
- Force: Meow kingdom
- Background: As the priest of the meow kingdom, Holi stays in the church, even when something big happens, Holi just open the church door to take a look and then continue to stay inside.
- Weapon: Holy Book
- Anger skill: As the priest, he is best at using sacred power, he can use this power to recover his injuries or his friends.
- Gameplay: In the battle, he is more suitable to be in the back row of the team, protect him and make the team more durable.
- Name: Gostie
- Element: Dark
- Force: Meow devildom
- Background: Gostie wanders in the world of meow warriors. Gostie likes to watch behind others silently. Although most people are afraid of gostie, gostie still hopes to be friends with everyone.
- Weapon: No Weapon
- Anger skill: Gostie looks like a ghost. You need to pay special attention to him to avoid be cursed by him, which will lead to reduced survivability.
- Gameplay: In battle, he will use the curse skill to kill enemies faster after cursing them.
- Name: Mora
- Element: Thunder
- Force: Meow Devildom
- Background: The meow who lives in the meow devildom loves lavender and music very much. If possible, Mora can even lie down in the lavender garden all day.
- Weapon: Bouquet
- Anger skill: Mora can cause a lot of damage to the front row of the enemy and reduce their survivability.
- Gameplay: In the battle, Mora can cooperate with other meow warriors to quickly solve the front row and then destroy the enemy’s back row one by one.
The three genesis meow warriors of the Sapphire have a rage skill and a passive skill.
- Name: Nemu
- Element: Dark
- Force: Sakura Village
- Background: Nemu, who lives in Sakura Village, is one of the most feared opponents of the monkey clan. Sometimes because of being too lethargic, he often falls asleep on a roof or tree, or even during battle and adventures.
- Weapon: Ninja Dart
- Anger skill: Nemu can cause a lot of damage to enemy and has a bleeding effect, so the enemy’s life value will reduce every round.
- Others: Ninja Necklace
- Passive skill: When attacking, if there is no critical strike, the probability of a critical strike in the next attack will increase。
- Gameplay: In battle, the characteristics of nemu crit, coupled with the anger skills that deal a lot of damage to a single enemy, Nemu can quickly solve the enemies, even if it is not defeated on the spot, the bleeding effect will not allow the enemy live long.
- Name: Flash
- Element: Water
- Force: Meow Devildom
- Background: The master of magic cristal mine in the Meow Devildom. It and Jiao Jiao are brothers with generous personalities, the magic crystals needed for the operation of the entire magic world are all produced here. So they are often attacked by the evil dragon clan, but the two brothers have defeated the clan in the end.
- Weapon：Mining Picks
- Anger skill：Using mining picks to cause a massive damage to the current enemy with a continuous attcak, there is a probability to stun the target.
- Others：Miner’s hat
- Passive skill：A high-speed miner’s hat can be very effective in protecting Flash from the enemy’s blast probability.
- Gameplay：In the battle, high-speed anger skill can deal lots of damage to a single enemy but also can potentially stun the target, making the target impossible to attack. This skill can be placed in front of tricky enemies and used to restrain them at critical moments to avoid dangerous or deadly attacks.
- Name: Tsuki
- Element: Fire
- Force: Sakura Village
- Background: As a well-known luthier in Sakura Village, Tsuki often appears on the stage of numerous festivals, together with little demons. Her luthier has a magical power to appease people’s heart.
- Weapon: Moon violin
- Anger skill: Tsuki plays the violin to inspire all of her parties’ meow warriors, increasing their attacking power and the effect will last for a while.
- Others: Star headpiece
- Passive skill: If Tsuki is defeated in the battlefield, all her parties’ meow warriors will be enraged and their attacking power will be increased and lasting for a while.
- Gameplay: In the battle, Tsuki is mainly responsible for providing gain for our side, she can effectively increase attacking power and making our side’s meow warriors more efficient in battle.
