99 Ways to Find a Husband in Dallas
I’m a single North Texan in my early thirties, and I want to find a husband. But I also want to (try to) enjoy the sometimes tedious process of searching for said husband, so I have started this blog as a fun way to chronicle my dating journey. It’s called “99 Ways to Find a Husband in Dallas.” I’ll be exploring different ways in which I try to meet Mr. Right — such as speed dating or being set up on a blind date by friends — and I’ll let you know what worked and what didn’t. If any of my readers have any unique ideas on where to meet other singles in Dallas or North Texas, leave a comment, and I might incorporate your idea into one of my upcoming articles.
99 Ways to Find a Husband in Dallas: Idea #1: Online Dating
One avenue in which I’ve tried to find a husband is Online Dating. I’ve had a fairly good experience with online dating. Most of the men I meet online are wonderful people (and we just don’t have enough in common to steadily date). But some of the men I meet online are — how should I say it? — interesting characters. The day before Thanksgiving, I received the following message on a dating app:
Hi [DatinginDallas]
Watching your profile for couple of weeks
We are perfect match.
U r Sweet & cute
God gave u beautiful look
Give me chance to create an amazing life around you.
I want to start whatever u have.
Please connect wit me
and God will fulfill the rest of
all your dreams
1. Ask
2. Believe
3. Receive.
My cell # [Redacted]
Can I please have honor
to take you on date tomorrow
On Thanksgiving Dinner
in a Restaurant?
I will confirm, u get
all my attention and respect.
Think & think again please.
Text me.
God bless u with happiness.

Needless to say, I don’t think Redacted and I are a match. But I’m still hopeful I’ll meet Mr. Right someday soon. Look out for my next blog article, where I’ll keep you up to date about my dating (mis)adventures.
