Entity Joins Consensus 2023
Howdy, partners! Last week, Entity joined Consensus 2023 in Austin to make sure the USA is #ReadyForEntity. Join us for a recap of this iconic Web3 event and a sneak peak of what comes next for Entity!
Entity goes West
Since launching in 2015, Consensus has become one of the largest and most influential blockchain conferences worldwide.
Over 17,000 crypto cowboys from 112 different countries flocked to Austin, Texas for Consensus 2023 powered by CoinDesk. Spanning from April 26–29 2023, Entity was proud to be there every step of the way.
This year’s event featured a wide range of blockchain professionals with diverse areas of expertise. Speakers and panelists included leaders from the NFT space such as Yuga Labs CEO Daniel Alegre as well as VIPs from DeFi and CeFi like Circle Chairman Jeremy Allaire.
Public policy was a key topic throughout the week, with guests such as US Representative Patrick McHenry and Senator Cynthia Lummis discussing the need for clear and fair Web3 regulations. The conference was also a time for reflection, with panels such as “FTX: What Happened?” breaking down tough lessons from the recent bear market.
From start to finish, Entity co-founders Wolfgang Rückerl and Christian Grenz as well as Business Development Officer Todd Neumann were in Austin to gather insights and connect with blockchain leaders from around the world.
The Entity Team made sure to share the benefits of both the Entity Growth Engine and the MultiversX Network when meeting with industry insiders at Consensus. Moving forward, we look forward to leveraging some of these new relationships to help kickstart US adoption of our ecosystem.
MVX in the house
In addition to making new connections, the event was also a great opportunity for Entity to catch up with partners and supporters from our expanding community.
As part of their Global Outreach Tour, MultiversX was a sponsor for Consensus 2023 and also hosted a side event on the evening of Thursday, April 27. This networking meetup brought together a range of Web3 community members at the Sky Lounge on Lady Bird in downtown Austin.
With founders and VCs from other chains in attendance, this event was a great way to unite MultiversX enthusiasts and help grow the ecosystem further.
Entity’s partners at DX25 and Knights of Cathena also traveled to Austin to meet new investors and other blockchain builders. In addition to the MultiversX side event, these projects joined a range of additional networking events along with Entity and met a variety of Web3 heavyweights from across the globe.
The opportunities to make new connections and catch up with some familiar faces made Consensus 2023 a great success for both Entity and the broader MultiversX community. In particular, we are confident that our new relationships with the broader Web3 ecosystem will prove valuable as Entity continues to evolve and expand to new frontiers.
Not our first rodeo
After a busy week of networking, learning about Web3, and eating Texas BBQ, the Entity Team traveled back home to regroup and refocus on upcoming milestones such as the first Entity Launchpad project.

Consensus 2023 joins a growing list of recent events joined by Entity, including NFT Paris, X Day by MultiversX, iVerse Vision’s Community Event, Binance Blockchain Week and Moonlorian’s Elrond Spain event.
Connecting with people from different countries and different ecosystems is important, so our team is excited to join more high-quality conferences in the near future.
