Gimmer accepts ETH exclusively in exchange for GMR during the Gimmer Token Sale

Automated Crypto-trading Platform Gimmer is launching a Public Token Sale, which will take place between February 1, 2018 and February 28, 2018 with bonuses up to 20 percent. At first, Gimmer offered its supporters the chance to buy tokens in Gimmer’s Token Sale using multiple cryptocurrencies, including BTC, DASH, ETH, XRP, LTC. However, this has now changed for various reasons. Accepting multiple digital currencies for a Token Sale would allow supporters to invest in their crypto of choice. Although, the Gimmer team soon came to realise that accepting multiple cryptocurrencies would create unnecessary confusion for supporters. Gimmer will now only accept ETH now to make the whole Token Sale as simple and secure as possible.

Gimmer had built a system to manage all of the cryptocurrencies the supporters would use for the transactions with real-time conversion between the various digital currencies and Gimmer Tokens (GMR). The team had created separate wallet storage for each type of coin and also the complex distribution model for all the cryptocurrencies.

At first, Gimmer decided to accept five different coins for the Token Sale. Now, supporters can only buy GMR using ETH.

Gimmer soon realized that the more coins were added to the system, the more security issues the Gimmer team and their supporters had to face. As there have been multiple attacks on different token sales in the past, Gimmer takes extra care of security. Working with the latest and best security standards, Gimmer seeks to eliminate the confusion and fear of a hacking attempt from our supporters’ heads.

ETHER — The only currency accepted in the Gimmer Token Sale

Sticking to just one coin for payment and taking advantage of the security and transparency of Ethereum Smart Contracts and ERC20 wallets, Gimmer believes accepting investments in ETH is the most secure way of ensuring that supporters get the tokens they purchase quickly and securely.

Gimmer will hold a Token Sale to further develop the platform. The Gimmer Token Sale will start on February 1, 2018, head to the Gimmer site for more information or read our whitepaper. Do you have any questions regarding Gimmer? Join us on our Telegram group!
