A UI case study.

My team and I had the opportunity to work with Dawna Jones (previously Insight to Action) — a forward-thinking thought leader in change and conflict resolution.

Alongside 3 UX designers, I was tasked with designing a fully functional, responsive website, with a view to having it built by developers. This case study looks at the 3 week project from the UI perspective.


My team and I had the opportunity to work with MVMTLAB — An innovative sports performance clinic located in Gastown, Vancouver BC.

For this project, we were partnered up to produce two different art directions for a music app. We were given a brief, mid-fi wireframes and complete creative control.

The App

The app was called REWIND: it let’s you listen to music and create playlists — like Spotify — but with the added social element of sharing playlists and being able to convert them to physical mixtapes. These mixtapes can then be mailed to loved ones, along with a walkman to listen to them.
