I love dates with my husband and the times throughout the week I get to encourage him!

On our first date, we sat in a Boba shop chatting for hours about our values and backgrounds. By our second date, we were on a path to see who could have the most fun dates. From our adventures on group dates with BBQ baskets brought on our hike to waterfalls to hiking mountains to bring awareness for former and current foster youth — our dates have not only bought new adventures.

Life like most things has changed.

In parenthood, I have found that times slip quicker than it use to. The luxury of time is not our own anymore. Late night game nights on weekdays with friends in our kitchen over homecooked meals at 2 am not bring laughter at just the thought.

There is a newness now — that has bought about a new adventure of creativity.

No matter how busy you get it is never too late to appreciate your partner. Below are some ways that I have found are small but make a major impact in showing appreciation for your partner no matter how busy you both may be.
