The future in technology is among us

What once seemed impossible is now at the forefront in human advancements while the world is dramatically being changed at an accelerated rate. Futuristic visions of self-driving vehicles, distribution orientated drones, Artificial Intelligence, and the newest concepts of Smart Cities have all hit center stage as realistic plans for the near future.
This new technology is exciting to say the least as it transforms the world but with new tech comes a new set of problems and solutions are needed before we can continue our advancements. One such issue that has plagued the modern computerized world, which is ultimately limiting our growth and efficiency in numerous applications, has been the ability to trust Location Data.
As the world becomes more connected with the mass adoption of Internet-of-Things (IOT), location-reliant devices; the need for a reliable, safe, and accurate system to validate location data has grown immensely.

XY Oracle (XYO) Network is the project dedicated to providing a solution

Utilizing blockchain technologies and off-chain, location awareness devices, the XYO Network will implement a “Proof-of-Location” protocol for a decentralized and a trustless location network. Providing greater security and a higher degree of accuracy than the current system for a high-growth market.
In a nutshell, the XYO Network plans to be a more secure system yet complementary to GPS systems where it is difficult or impossible to disrupt, jam, attack, or interfere with the data. This will be achieved through using 4 main components to the network: Sentinels, Bridges, Archivists, and Diviners.

Sentinels — Location data gathering devices
Bridges — Relay devices. Transfers location data from Sentinels to Archivists
Archivists — Stores and archives location data on the blockchain. Providing a trustless and secure historical ledger.
Diviners — Complex processing and analysis of data. Provides answers based upon available data for queries and then relays that answer to the origin.

With such a large and secure location network, the use cases are seemingly endless in our modern and connected world. For the past few years, XY has researched and developed location-based technology along with becoming the leader in findable technology. With over 1million location beacons circulating globally, XY has the worlds largest network of GPS and Bluetooth connected devices.
With the onset of the Token sale (ICO) — XY will enter the cryptocurrency markets as the XYO network with the ultimate goal of “Bridging Blockchain Technology to the real world”.
