There are several things that many people try to capture with little success: love, money, peace and fulfillment are a few of these. The pursuit of these things is what keeps us going everyday.

People discuss ways in which they can capture these elusive things all the time. They talk about strategies, tactics and shortcuts. In the short term they might work, but the cost is that it usually makes it harder to get it in the long run.

No one really discusses principles because principles don’t sell. People want that quick fix. Elusive things are hard to get for a reason. Capturing them is a lesson unto itself. You have to face yourself in the process and see the barriers that you have placed before yourself that you haven’t noticed until now.

Sometimes, the best thing you can do is nothing at all. You just need to be still, observe and truly see what you don’t notice in your hurry to do the work. Vision is more important than action.
