Powerful resources like Krypo Ore can be found throughout Kryptoria.

Kryptoria is the most immersive, most engaging, gamified experience in Web3. Strategy, tactics and creativity are rewarded when combined with innovative approaches to the game.

Underpinning the entire ecosystem are Kryptorian NFTs. These are not just JPEGs. They denote the entire ownership of all in-ecosystem assets. Holding Land for instance, marks you out as an individual owner of our 10,000 tile Unity built, persistent world.

By owning and staking your Alpha Citizen, Land and Weapon, you will be granted access to the world. Your Alpha Citizen will get to work. The resource yield will begin. This is the first aspect of the experience: Build.

Our peer-to-peer resource exchange allows holders to trade with one another. Strategy and deal-making will be vital here. This is the second part of establishing your position in Kryptoria: Trade.

Quantity is not the only important component. Variety is also key. Players should hold a given amount of every resource in order to have the best chance of success. Each Land NFT will only yield one type of resource, you’ll either have to acquire Land of all 5 types, or get your hands on those precious resources another way…

TRADE

Trade is all about swapping what you’ve got for what you need. Its mechanics are inspired by Settlers of Catan, one of the world’s most popular board games.

Kryptoria is a flourishing economy, one with shipments of BioSynth exchanging hands under the cover of darkness. Crates of Meta Spice travel by MagLev train through the deserts.

Each piece of Land will have a daily resource yield, dictated by its specific abundance and any bonuses you have on it.

You’ll want a supply of all 5 resources before raiding other players and ensuring the best defence of your land. There are two approaches here.

  1. Acquire a varied portfolio of at least one of the five land types. With holdings stretching from the Broken Sea to the glowing fields of Binary Grass, you’ll be self-sufficient, yielding what you need to defend your empire.
  2. Enter the bustling free market economy of the Resource Exchange. Here, you can post trades offering to swap your resources for those you need, or accept trades posted by other players. The exchange rate for each resource pair is determined by the market, although those with an adept eye will have plenty of opportunities to seek out a deal…

Those holding all 5 land types, may still want to use the Resource Exchange. Given the range in yield arising from abundance and bonuses, it’s likely you’ll always have more of some and less of others. The Exchange can be your friend here, trading your excesses and managing a balanced approach.

As exchange volume flows and demand for certain resources fluctuates, the rate of exchange will be constantly moving. The in-game economy is complex and dynamic, one that reflects the trends occurring throughout the world of Kryptoria. Some may have made a push to capture the land around the Proxy Portal. They’ll need Meta Spice to do it. Be tactical here. If you own swathes of desert, they’ll need you. Our community is filled with sophisticated strategists and avid gamers. Maybe you’ll want to reach out to the other desert tile owners and form a cartel, set the market price and withhold supply. It’s fine, we won’t report you to the High Council 🤫

The Dashboard

The Dashboard shows you your resource holdings, along with all info on your staked game assets.

Go to kryptoria.io. After you’ve connected your wallet, staked and assigned your Kryptoria NFTs, you’ll be able to access the ‘Trade’ section of the site. Here, you’ll find the Dashboard. It’s a summary of all the land you own in Kryptoria, all the resources you hold and the rate at which they’re being accrued. From your Land’s in-game coordinates to the armoury that made your Weapon (DegenTech ftw), it’s all there. We designed the entire UX to reflect the fact that your Kryptoria NFTs aren’t just images. They’re your in-game assets and the key to access an entire ecosystem. Built for holders. Owned by holders.

The Resource Exchange

In Kryptoria, the Resource Exchange is a grand chamber, rife with under-the-table deals and busy with shouting traders. You’ll be able to access the Exchange through the tab in the Trade Section of the site. Here, you can post trades that go out to market and accept trades that others have posted.

POSTING A TRADE

Posting a trade to the market is easy with our seamless UI.

Once you’ve assessed your holdings and decided on a strategy, step in and post those trades. Set which resources you want to send and receive, at what amounts and click ‘Post Trade’. It’ll then go out into the ‘Available Trades’ list, for players to accept. The High Council has deemed even the Resource Exchange within its jurisdiction, so the trades you post must follow a few rules:

  • Amounts must be a multiple of 5
  • Amounts must be less than 1000
  • Maximum spread is half/double
  • No more than 3 active trades by 1 player at any 1 time.
  • All trades are subject to a 5% exchange fee

Trades aren’t anonymous but shown to have been posted from your player profile. Here, others can see your assets, your resource balance, and your battle record. You may have them reach out to you in Discord or Twitter to negotiate. Or simply accept your trade outright. It’s up to you how you conduct yourself, from hard-fighting haggler to aloof merchant banker.

ACCEPTING TRADES

If you see a trade that catches your eye, all you have to do is click the ‘Accept’ button. Provided you have the required resources to execute the trade, you’ll automatically gain and lose the relevant amounts. All accepted trades can be seen in the Dashboard, under the ‘Activity’ tab. It’s as simple as that.

TL;DR?

Trade is the second stage of your journey in Kryptoria. It provides holders a way to balance their resources. It allows them to shrewdly keep an eye on exchange rates, in-game events and to profit from their land’s yield. And, it gives players a vitally important way to provide their armies with the supplies needed to expand their empire. Done correctly, Trade could be the key to your success in Fight, the third gameplay element launching Q4 2022. When combined, Build, Trade and Fight constitute the most sophisticated RTS game in Web3.
