Everything Comes From Within And It All Starts With You

We constantly seek other people’s reassurance, in every aspect of life.

If you want to make your dreams come true, you wait for that one person to give you the green light that will let you know that “You can do this!”

If you’re single, you seek other people’s reassuring words “You’ll find someone! You’re amazing! Who wouldn’t date you?”

At work, you want people to tell you that you’re doing a good job.

As a parent, you also want people to confirm that you are doing a good job.

You might not have realized that but we all seek some kind of approval for every little things that we do and every little things that we are.

The problem with this is that we get worried if people don’t reassure us or give us their approval.

We think that something surely must be wrong with us or that we might not be doing such a good job afterall or that maybe we cannot actually “do this”.

We start to question ourselves and our capabilities.

We start to question our worth and then we feel like a complete and total failure.

But just like the saying goes:

“Love comes from within”

And by that same occasion we can also say:

“Everything comes from within”

You don’t need other people to reassure you.

You don’t need other people to give you the green light to do something or to be something.

All you need is you.

As long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be happy with who you are and what you’re doing then that’s all the reassurance and green lights that you need.

We rely on people too much that we forget to rely on ourselves.

So before you go into the world seeking other people’s approval make sure that you look at yourself and you give that approval to yourself first.

This goes for everything.

Before you go into the world and give your love to other people, make sure that you look at yourself and give yourself some love first.

Before you ask other people to allow you to live off of your passions, make sure that you allow yourself to do what you’re passionate about first.

Other people’s opinions are important in some cases but make sure that their opinions are never above your own. Otherwise they’ll crush you when they turn out to be opposite from what you wanted to hear.
