Teachers can now suggest and vote for new Phenomena experiences with our New Topics Leaderboard

This past summer, with the help of our amazing interns and Creator Camp attendees, we created over 100 experiences spanning topics in math, physics, chemistry, computer science and even music. We launched these experiences to the world this fall and are excited to hear feedback from teachers and students. One of the pieces of feedback we’re most excited to hear is what experiences teachers and students want to see next!

This week, we’ve introduced a new tool that lets teachers weigh in on which topics they want to see made into experiences: our New Topic Leaderboard. We believe teachers know their curriculum and the needs of their students best, so we’re excited to give them a voice in the content creation process.

Teachers can suggest topics for experiences via our new Leaderboard.

Where to Find the Leaderboard

The Leaderboard is only accessible to teachers with a free Phenomena account. If that’s you, follow the instructions below! (If you’re not a teacher but you’d like to suggest a topic, we’d still love to hear from you at people@phenomenalearning.com)

  1. Log into your free Phenomena teacher account.
  2. Navigate to the Experiences page.
  3. Click on the “Suggest a Topic” button in the topic list above the experiences.

How to Use the Leaderboard

The Leaderboard lets you upvote topics that have been suggested by others by clicking the arrow icon to the right of a topic. If you don’t see the topic you’re interested in, you can add your own by clicking the plus sign under the Math, Science or Other headings.

Image shows on the left panel the list of suggested Science topics with an arrow to the right of each topic that can be selected to upvote. The right panel shows the widget to add your own topic in the Math, Science or Other columns.

Try it out and let us know what you think at people@phenomenalearning.com!
