Mission Dolos: Solo Combat Trials

Prepare for a competition, Pioneers!

We recently released a new update for the game, the star of which was our Solo Combat Trials simulation module. Since then, players have had a chance to run through the challenges within, proving themselves capable of facing enemies and coming out on top.

There’s more, though. We alluded to the fact that players would be rewarded for practicing their skills, and the reason for that comes now.

It’s time to prepare for Mission Dolos: Solo Combat Trials.

What is Mission Dolos: Solo Combat Trials?

Mission Dolos: Solo Combat Trials is a competition! Players will compete using the skills that they’ve developed in the Solo Combat Trials simulation, rerunning the trials in order to get the best possible score.

How Long Does the Competition Run For?

Mission Dolos: Solo Combat Trials will run for 4 weeks, divided into 1-week sections. At the end of each section, winners will be announced, and the leaderboards will reset. The schedule is as follows:

Week 1: Launch Tuesday (6th June) 4PM CET running to Monday (12th June) 10AM CET

Winners announcement on (Monday 12th June ) 11AM CET

Week 2: Launch Tuesday (13th June) running to Monday (19th June)

Winners Announcement on Monday (19th June)

Week 3: Launch Tuesday (20th June) running to Monday (26th June)

Winners Announcement on Monday (26th June)

Week 4: Launch Tuesday (27th June) running to Monday (3rd July)

Winners Announcement on Monday (3rd July)

What Do I Have to Do to Enter?

To qualify, you must be following Life Beyond on Twitter (@LifeBeyond) and be part of our Discord Server.

How Do I Win?

Score as high as you can in Solo Combat Trials, which can be accessed using the Simulations Terminal within the Hub. Your score will automatically be updated on the leaderboard (accessible both in game and on our website). The Top 10 players on the leaderboard during each week will be awarded prizes depending on their position. At the end of each week, the leaderboard will be reset- you can earn prizes over multiple weeks, but to do so you’ll have to run the trials again each week to see if you can replicate your success.

Do Founders/NFT Holders Get Any Added Benefit?

Yes! Being a Founder or a Life Beyond NFT holder will gain you additional goodies on top of the existing rewards. Founders will get more, as befits their exclusive status within the community, but other NFT holders will still get additional benefits. See the following section for details!

Do I Only Get One Chance?

No, the leaderboard will automatically keep your best score that week, so don’t worry about losing your score if you do worse. Keep trying for better scores throughout the week, even if you’re on the top…you never know when someone might overtake you.
