Solo Combat Trials Update Notes

Welcome back, Pioneers!

As promised, we’ve got another update for you this month, and this one’s particularly exciting. Why, I hear you ask? Well, because the first of our simulation modules is going live! What does that mean? You’ll have to read on to find out…

Solo Combat Trials

The titular feature of this update, Solo Combat Trials is the first of many simulations to be enabled for use by prospective pioneers. Accessible as always through the Hub via the newly activated Simulations Terminal, players will have to move through a gauntlet of rooms, clearing out enemies while avoiding their reprisal. Be warned, the challenges will get more and more difficult as you go…

So, the first? Yes! As we mentioned in our roadmap earlier in the year, there are more different modules being worked on that will go live in the terminal. Within their simulations, you’ll be able to take part in many different experiences and trials, preparing you for your life on Dolos once pioneers are selected for the next voyage to the planet.

As part of our continued efforts to reward their commitment to us, Founders will gain exclusive access to Solo Combat Trials first when it goes live on Thursday, 25th May at 4PM CET. They’ll be the first to get to grips with the new content, but other players won’t have too long to wait, as we’ll be opening access to all on Monday, 29th May at 11AM CET.

Leaderboards

Ever wanted to prove yourself the best? Want to finally get proof of your superiority, securing bragging rights for your friendship group? Well, trials are nothing without a way to show off the results afterwards, so we’re implementing leaderboard functionality in game and on our website. Each of our trial simulations has certain criteria that will earn you points, which will be scored at the end of your run. That way, when you complete a trial, you’ll be able to see how well you did against other players.
