What is the Neo Championship?
The Neo Championship is a series of races between all of the Neo Teams . Each race earns your team points towards the championship leader board. The higher you finish in each race, the more points you get and the closer you come to being crowned champions. It’s as simple as that…kind of…
Qualifying
Before each race every Neo Team will compete in qualifying. There are 4 days of qualifying held each week from Tuesday-Friday. Each day will have a challenge for your team to complete in order to earn points towards your starting position.
Qualifying challenges will vary in style, duration and difficulty. Some examples include Physical Challenges, Design challenges, Puzzles, Digital Treasure Hunts, Online Games, Quizzes and more…
Qualifying challenges that are time limited will be held at multiple times throughout the day so that people in different time zones have a chance to take part
The team with the most points starts at the front and the team with the fewest points starts at the back on Race Day (makes a lot of sense really)
Race Day
Once qualifying is complete and the starting positions are set, it’s time for the main event — Race Day
Race Day is the most important part of each week and is held every Saturday. It doesn’t matter if you finished last in qualifying, if you can perform on Race Day then you can steal victory for you and your team
There are lots of fast-paced challenges on Race Day that will be run one after another and usually last no more than 30 minutes
As with the qualifying challenges, Race Day challenges will vary dramatically and give you the chance to show of your talents and help the team in whichever way suits you best
Each challenge is recorded as a “lap”. At the end of each lap your team will get a time based on where you finished compared to the other Neo teams
After all the challenges are complete the team with the fastest time overall will win Race Day and move even closer to being crowned champions
Prizes
We cannot reveal specific prizes YET as these will change with each Race and Championship however…
There will be big prizes for the winning team of each Neo Championship. There will be prizes for the winning team of each Race and sometimes there will be special prizes for the winners of specific challenges (so even if you’re not at the front of the race it’s always worth competing)
Additional Info
Just like any other Major Racing Championship the Neo Championship will be held across the world. That means each week the Neo Circuit will move to a different location around the globe — expect special events and surprises depending on the city we’re in
A competition as big as the Neo Championship will be covered extensively by the media in the NeoVerse. As part of a Neo Team you may be able to answer interview questions, gain fans and might even find yourself on the front of a magazine cover
