The time has come Nervape Holders! Dress up your apes!

Finally! Naked Nervapes no more! The Nervape Gear Drop Round 1 has just arrived, this Friday, June 7th 10AM (UTC+8), dropping two Gear items. The Gear was selected from these five categories: Handheld/Headwear/Eyewear/Accessory/Lower Body. You can now dress up your blank Nervape avatar with some of the coolest Gear from the Third Continent, dropped straight to your BTC wallet! Please follow the steps in this article to dress up your ape.

Step 1: Connect Your BTC Wallet On Our Website

Go to https://www.nervape.com and click on the wallet CONNECT button on the upper right of the website. Connect the BTC wallet you use to hold your Nervape (JoyID / OKX / UniSat wallet). Then Click on the wallet button again and in the dropdown menu, select “My Nervape Assets.” You’re now inside the Nervape website wallet!

NERVAPE NOTE: Sign in with your BTC wallet, not your CKB wallet. The Gear is only visible in the BTC wallet you used to connect/generate a CKB address.

Step 2: Check Your Nervape Gear!

Time to see what Gear you got! To check what Nervape Gear was dropped to you, please click on the NERVAPE GEAR button on the left in your Nervape website wallet (bottom if you’re using a phone).

It will then display what Gear you received (the Nervape in the picture above is still waiting to receive Gear, so it’s empty).

Step 3: Open the Off-Chain Dress Up Application

Now you know what Gear you got, go back to the panel and click NERVAPE then click on your Nervape image. An info panel will pop up and under the list of traits, click on the DRESSUP button.

After the loading screen, you will arrive at the off-chain dress up your ape application!

Step 4: Dress Up Your Nervape Interface

As you can see above, there are four buttons above your Nervape: ALL / HEAD / BODY / OTHERS.

ALL : Will show all the assets you have, regardless of type. NOTE: The above image was taken during our test which lists all the Gear. At this time, your ALL button will only show the few assets that were dropped to you (see Step 5).

HEAD: This button will show all the Gear that can be placed on your Nervape’s head area (headwear, masks, eyewear, etc…).

NERVAPE NOTE: In the image above you can see some Gear that are grayed out, which is Gear that is currently not owned.

BODY: This displays all the Gear worn on your Nervape’s main body (upper body, lower body, accessory, etc…)

OTHERS: This is all the other Gear such as backgrounds, handheld Gear, and special Gear like pet companions.

CATEGORY BUTTONS: Under your ape, you can see the different Gear categories. Some of the categories are locked (lock symbol) as they have not been dropped yet.

ZOOM IN / ZOOM OUT: The button on the lower right of your Nervape profile picture allows you to zoom in and out of your ape to get a better look!

EDIT BUTTONS: These buttons just below your Nervape are as follows (from left to right): CLEAR, RANDOM, UNDO, REDO.

CLEAR (paintbrush icon)— This clears out all the Gear your ape is wearing and resets it back to a blank ape.

RANDOM (two intertwining arrows) — This spins the wheel of chance and will randomly select from your available Gear to design your ape. Once you start collecting more Gear, it’s super fun to see what designs will randomly pop up!

UNDO (back arrow) — Click Undo to go back to the last change you made to your Nervape.

REDO (forward arrow) — Press this to do again any changes you’ve undone.

In the image above, pictured at the top, are the buttons (left to right) to SAVE/DOWNLOAD/EXIT the Nervape Dress Up application.

SAVE — This will save any changes you made to your Nervape and will ask for a wallet signature. When you sign back into your wallet, you will see your Nervape wearing the Gear from the last save.

DOWNLOAD — This will download the current image of your Nervape with the Gear it has on. NOTE: Downloading an image of a Nervape, does not save it. Be sure to save before exiting to save changes.

NERVAPE NOTE: If you’re using an iPhone and click DOWNLOAD, it will save the Nervape image to your Downloads folder, not your Photos. To save it to your Photos, go to the Downloads folder click on the Nervape. Click on the up arrow icon on the lower left. Then in the menu that pops up, click Save Image to save your Nervape to Photos.

EXIT — The X button will exit you out of the Dress Up Your Ape application. If you have not saved, it will display the warning message above. To save, click “NO” and then click the “Save” button. If you don’t need to save, click “YES” to exit out of the application.

SMARTPHONE USERS: If you’re using your smartphone or a narrow browser window like the images above, the Gear will appear below your Nervape (instead of on the right). There will also be a button below your ape to collapse the selection of Gear. To expand it back, click on the category button again.

Step 5: How to Dress Up Your Nervape!

Now that you know what the buttons mean, here comes the fun part…dressing up your Nervape!

Above is what I see after pressing the DRESS UP button in Step 3.

Under the ALL section, I can see that I have 1 piece of Gear in Accessory and 1 piece of Gear in Handheld.

When I click on the icon for each Gear, it will equip it to my Nervape. If I want to clear a piece of Gear from my ape, I can click the “🚫” symbol to un-equip it. To clear all Gear, press the paintbrush icon below the ape.

You can also find the Gear dropped to you under their respective section (HEAD, BODY, OTHER) and category (headwear, eyewear, etc…). When you click on each category, it will populate the Gear list on the right (or below for phone users). You can then select from the Gear available, which will be lit up, to equip as well. Grayed out Gear is not selectable.

There you have it! You’ve now dressed up your Nervape! Be sure click “Save” to save all the changes. You can also see your Nervape along with other Nervapes wearing their cool Gear in our Gallery: https://www.nervape.com/nervapes

Also, Nervape Gear is tradable right away on the JoyID and Omiga Marketplaces! Take a look to see if there’s any other Gear that catches your eye.
