Earlier this month we launched two amazing features on our main Nervape website (https://nervape.com) that lets you:
- Transfer your Nervape Gear.
- Transfer CKB to a different CKB address.
We’d like to go over these new features, but first we want to review how Nervape Holders can transfer their Nervape. Let’s go through the steps together!
First Connect Your BTC Wallet On Our Website
As you’ve probably seen from our other tutorials, the first step is to go to https://www.nervape.com and click on the wallet CONNECT button on the upper right of the website.
Connect the BTC wallet, under the BTC tab, that you use to hold your Nervape(s) — JoyID / OKX / UniSat wallet. Then click on the wallet button again and in the dropdown menu, select “My Nervape Assets.” You’re now inside the Nervape Wallet!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Sign in with your BTC wallet, not your CKB wallet. Nervape Gear is only visible in the BTC wallet you used to connect/generate a CKB address.
How to Transfer Your Nervape
Inside the “My Nervape Assets” page, the default display will be under the NERVAPE tab showing all your Nervapes (as shown above).
Click on the Nervape you want to transfer.
An info panel will pop up with options to DRESSUP, TRANSFER, VIEW ON DOBBY to the bottom right (if you’re on your phone, you will need to scroll to the bottom). Click on TRANSFER.
A new panel will appear asking you to enter a Bitcoin Taproot/Native SegWit address to transfer to. If the address is a different format or incorrect, an error message in red will appear just below the address field.
Next, please select a gas fee. To increase the probability that your Nervape is transferred quickly and successfully, we advise users to pay a bit extra and click “Custom” and enter 2x the Average gas fee. So in the image above, that would be 20 sat/vB. If you’re not in a hurry, then “Fast” would be the next best selection.
Please read the reminder messages in orange in the info panel before proceeding to transfer. Mainly:
- Only transfer to JoyID, OKX, or UniSat wallets. Other wallets and cold/hardware wallets are not supported.
- Do not transfer your Nervape if it’s listed on Dobby Market.
After following the steps and reminders above, click TRANSFER at the bottom.
After sending your Nervape, you can check it’s status in the TRANSACTION RECORD tab (spinning icon in the menu) and then click on the Nervape Head icon on the upper right.
Please note that we cannot control or predict transfer times. Transfer may take hours or minutes depending on the gas fee submitted and BTC blockchain activity.
How To Transfer Nervape Gear
To transfer Gear, please return to “My Nervape Assets” page. Once inside, please navigate to the menu bar (on the left for PC users, on the bottom for smartphone users) and click on NERVAPE GEAR.
Your Nervape Gear will then appear. Please click on the Gear item you would like to transfer.
In the panel that pops up, click the TRANSFER button below.
A panel will open asking for a valid CKB address.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Only transfer Nervape Gear to CKB addresses provided by JoyID or Nervape Inventory (this address was connected/generated in the Nervape Wallet following this process.)
After you confirmed the above, click TRANSFER.
A new panel will appear saying that your transfer request was sent and will list a transaction ID (TXID). You can check the status of your sent Gear in the TRANSACTION RECORD tab (spinning icon in the menu) and then clicking on the Dress icon on the upper right.
What’s cool is that each Gear is a DOB with CKB built into it, allowing 10,000x transactions at no cost to the user! Also, in comparison to BTC, transactions are faster and generally take a few minutes.
How To Transfer CKB
To transfer CKB, go back to the “My Nervape Assets” page and click on the “Transfer CKB” link on the right, above CKB BALANCE.
A panel will open up asking:
- Under “Transfer,” how much CKB to transfer. Enter at least 63 CKB (the minimum) or higher.
- Recipient’s CKB address.
Once a valid amount and CKB address is entered, click the now orange CONFIRM TRANSFER button.
A signature page will pop up to confirm the amount to transfer, the fee for the transfer (generally very low), and the total.
After double checking, click CONFIRM.
A panel will appear to confirm that the transaction has been submitted and will give you a transaction ID (TXID).
You can check the status of your sent CKB in the TRANSACTION RECORD tab (spinning icon in the menu) and then clicking on the NERVOS icon on the upper right.
It should generally take a few minutes.

- Transfer a Nervape.
- Transfer Nervape Gear.
- Transfer CKB.
