We’ve been overwhelmed the last few months with the interest and excitement from the community. With all of the support we’ve received, our dreams of building the next generation of marketplaces that leverage public, decentralized reputation are quickly becoming reality!

Ink Protocol’s public token sale will occur in two stages, the Presale and the Crowdsale. Each stage has a registration period which is followed by a sale period. Successfully registering for the presale automatically registers you for the crowdsale as well.

Timeline

Presale

• Presale registration is now LIVE and will change to a waitlist at 12am UTC on January 14th, 2018
• The presale begins at 8pm UTC on January 22nd, 2018
• The presale concludes at 8pm UTC on January 31st, 2018

Crowdsale

• Crowdsale registration begins at 8pm UTC on January 22nd, 2018
• Crowdsale registration concludes at 8pm UTC on February 1st, 2018
• The crowdsale begins at 8pm UTC on February 1st, 2018
• The crowdsale concludes at 8pm UTC on February 28th, 2018

Registration Process

For both the Presale and Crowdsale, successful registration requires the following:

• Join our Telegram community
• Complete registration and KYC (Know Your Customer) information at https://paywithink.com/register
• Email from Ink Protocol confirming KYC acceptance

Registration and waitlist deadlines are based on your registration/KYC submission time:

• Presale: Submit by 8pm UTC on January 22nd
• Crowdsale: Submit by 8pm UTC on February 1st

Once your registration/KYC information is accepted, you will receive email confirmation with details about how to participate in the token sale. Presale participants are automatically registered for the crowdsale as well.

Unfortunately, non-accredited investors from the U.S. and Canada, and all participants from China and Taiwan cannot participate in the presale or crowdsale. Accredited investors will need to submit their KYC and accredited investor status in order to participate.

Pricing and Contribution

Ink Protocol’s total token sale has a hard cap of $15M. The Presale and Crowdsale will only accept Ether (ETH), and have a combined hard cap of $11.5M. A portion of the total sale was sold back in November during an early private sale to strategic advisors and investors.

The current minimum purchase is 0.1 ETH

Presale

Ink Protocol’s Token Presale begins at 8pm UTC on January 22nd and concludes at 8pm UTC on January 31st.

The presale has a remaining cap of $5M and will be offered at a discount to the crowdsale price. The price and discount will be based on each individual’s contribution tier:

• FULL— Presale Tier 1: 1 ETH = 9,375 XNK (~20% discount)
• FULL— Presale Tier 2: 1 ETH = 8,825 XNK (~15% discount)
• Presale Tier 3: 1 ETH = 8,350 XNK (~10% discount)

Update: Presale tier 1 and tier 2 are now closed for registrations after 8AM UTC time on 1/12/18.

Update: There will be an individual 1 ETH cap for everyone during the first 24 hours. After that, you will be able to contribute up to your full individual cap amount.

The ETH/USD price will be locked a few days before the start of the public presale in order to ensure we do not sell more than our total hard cap of $15M. Once we reach our cap, any remaining unsold tokens will be burned.

Upon successful registration, presale participants will be notified of their tier (default is tier 3) and individual allocation amount. Participants may contribute up to their allocation amount as long as the presale is live and the cap has not been met. Participants wishing to contribute beyond their allocation may do so during the crowdsale (at the crowdsale price).

During the presale registration period, participants can work toward higher tiers by showing their support for Ink Protocol and its community:

• Invite friends to register for the presale with their referral code
  Referral codes are provided during the registration process. Referrals that complete the registration/KYC process increase your likelihood of moving to a higher tier.
• Become an active member of Ink Protocol’s Telegram
  Ask questions, give feedback, and help newcomers understand the project to increase your chance of moving to a higher tier.
• China and Taiwan participants are not eligible; US and Canada participants must provide proof of accredited investor status

Crowdsale

Ink Protocol’s Token Crowdsale begins at 8pm UTC on February 1st and concludes at 8pm UTC on February 28th.

The crowdsale has a cap of $6.5M, with a price of 1 ETH = 7,500 XNK.
