PolyPad is leading the growth of the Polygon ecosystem by providing the tools projects require to build in the space. PolyPad is thus a deflationary launchpad with the goal to break down accessibility barriers to novel early-stage blockchain projects.
With PolySports being the first IDO to launch, we’re preparing this simple guide such that everybody becomes familiar with the steps required to participate in project sales.
Please note: to participate in any IDOs, you must have completed KYC and have staked your $POLYPAD tokens at least three hours before the IDO.
How to obtain your tier and participate in an IDO
We value accessibility and transparency. Our participation system has been designed with these values in mind, which is why besides the two lottery tiers, we also created a guaranteed tier system, where a minimum of 150,000 $POLYPAD tokens are required to unlock a guaranteed allocation in each project. The higher the tier, the larger the allocation which is automatically calculated using a pool weight mechanism.
Now that the tier system is clear, it is time to take a look at the eligibility criteria. This process can be summed up in three simple steps:
- Decide on a tier and buy your $POLYPAD tokens. To do this, visit the PolyPad website and use the official links for PancakeSwap, QuickSwap, Gate.io and MEXC.
- Pass the one-time KYC process. KYC verified users see a green KYC button on the PolyPad website and will have received an approval email from our KYC partner KYCAID.
- Stake your $POLYPAD tokens at least 3 hours before the IDO. To do this, visit the PolyPad staking platform. You can also read the staking guide here.
Please note: to qualify for the lowest guaranteed tier, a minimum of 150,000 $POLYPAD tokens is required.
