Chapter One: “A Strange Encounter”
High Alert on the Pomelo Moon Base!
We’ve received a cryptic message from a scouting mission that was exploring the Mare Nectaris (or Sea of Nectar) after several robotic probes got lost in the area.
While the team didn’t find any trace of the missing probes, members reported that their instruments picked up an energy field that sparked their curiosity. Shortly after, all communications dropped, although the team’s monitored vital signs showed no abnormalities.
Hours later, the main moon base received a short and distorted video transmission sent from one of the scout’s helmet camera. Given the low quality of the transmitted file, it’s hard to tell what we are dealing with here.
We can see a green pulsating light on the moon’s surface, which is quite an unusual sight for the normally dead lunar landscape.
On the recording, we can also hear one of the crew members shouting euphorically: “It’s alive! It’s alive!”
A support team has been sent to help and we hope that everyone involved is going to be alright.

Chapter Two: “Retrieving the Artifact”
Several days after we received the mysterious messages from the moon, we can report that indeed there has been a groundbreaking discovery.
Underneath the dusty surface, a scouting unit found glowing artifacts, all shaped like keys and glowing green like pomelos.
They’re also covered with some form of lettering and scientists already agree that the depicted language is unrelated to any of the ancient cultures known from Planet Earth.
While scientists are still in the process of decoding the writings, there’s one theory:
A long time ago, an ancient civilization (let’s call them the Pomelians) visited our galaxy.
Furthermore, in the writings manifested on the artifacts, these Pomelians have shared a multitude of their wisdom.
Why do these artifacts have such a pulsating glow? What’s their energy source?
It’s clear that there is a lot of value in these strange objects.

Our scientists made a significant breakthrough decoding the artifacts.
According to their research, the information engraved into these mysterious relics contain details of genetic modifications that would enable humans to travel into deep space.

At intervals, beams of green light are appearing and they don’t seem to be random, but instead form a recurring pattern that reminds us of morse code.
The Pomelo Space Crew is very attracted to these beams and some even tried to be exposed to the light, which when successful, resulted in them being slightly pulled away from the moon’s surface. Nevertheless, they were overjoyed by the phenomena. While these light rays don’t seem to be harmful, there seems to be a force behind them.
Potentially, a tractor beam of sorts.
Scientists are currently looking into locating the exact coordinates where these beams originated. There is a growing number of Pomelo Space Crew members juiced up on the Pomelo Serum that seem determined to just go on the adventure to search for the galaxy that is trying to make contact.

To maintain their circadian rhythms, the Astronauts must receive good morning (GM) and good night (GN) messages every day. To have the desired effect, each message must be unique and so automation is out of the question.
Fortunately, the Pomelo Crew has anticipated this issue and is developing a system that will keep their circadian rhythms in check. For the system to work, our Pomelo Space Crew relies on you, their Pomelo supporters on Earth, who will play a crucial role in simulating the day/night rhythm for our galactic heroes.

A Different Approach: The BTC Ordinal Mission
The messages that the Pomelo Crew has received are the first tangible evidence of another life form in the great cosmic abyss.
The majority of our Pomelo Space Crew members are itching to explore the area, and so the moon bases are buzzing with activity in preparation for this adventure.
Starships are being crafted and supplies for the long-distance travel are being gathered.
